HUNTINGTON COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING

Established in 1973, Huntington County Council on Aging has been serving the needs of senior residents and persons with disabilities in Huntington County, Indiana, aged 60 and over. Our services include homemaking, foot care, education on topics important to the aging population, transportation, and more. We also offer a variety of enjoyable social activities! The Council on Aging strives to provide services and resources that allow seniors to live independently and safely in their own homes. Be sure to read our blog and newsletter for more info!

Huntington Area Transportation (HAT) to Huntington County. HAT is the county’s only public transportation provider. It is available to everyone, regardless of age. We take riders to work, shopping, medical appointments, school, lunch, etc.

Huntington County Council on Aging receives funding various sources, including Indiana Department of Transportation, United Way of Huntington County, Parkview Huntington Community Health Improvement, Aging and In-Home Services of NE Indiana, service fees, and local donations.
