To make an online donation to Huntington County Council On Aging, please click on the button below. You will then be taken to a new page, where you will need to enter the amount you would like to donate, and you can also specify the purpose for your donation.

You will have the option to pay by credit card or by ACH. Credit card payments include a $3 convenience fee, ACH do not.

Planned Giving

Many people choose to gift a charity in their will to support causes that have been important to them in their life. There are benefits to making a gift to Huntington County Council on Aging or other charities in your will, trust, or other gift plans. Tax savings are one. But more importantly, you can support the future of causes that are close to your heart. Depending on your financial needs and charitable interests, you can make planned giving in different ways, for example:

  • Gifts Through Your Will – Remembering Huntington County Council on Aging in your will can help you reduce estate taxes while ensuring the work you care continues.
  • Gifts Outside Your Will – You can help our mission by making a gift that avoids probate. Just name Huntington County Council on Aging as a beneficiary on appreciated securities, retirement plans, insurance policies, or real estate.

Donate To Our Programs

Looking to donate to a specific program? Here are some ongoing programs that could use your gift:

  • Huntington Area Transportation (HAT) – Huntington Area Transportation (HAT) is a public transportation service for the citizens of Huntington County. HAT provides the reservations, scheduling, and operation of door-to-door service. Drivers are trained in safety and passenger assistance. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available.
  • Homemaker Program – Our Homemaker Program provides services to seniors and those with disabilities, such as general house chores, errands, and more.
  • Senior Center – The Senior Center is always in need of more support to fund its many activities, like line dancing and social nights.

Building Fund

We still need funds for our building renovation, which will have enough space for the 12,000 + seniors we serve in Huntington County. Community members can donate gifts to the general building renovation or can purchase specific items for the building for naming opportunities.

Building Fund Donation Levels:
Founder: $100,000 and above
Developer: $50,000 to $99,999
Contributor: $25,000 to $49,999
Patron: $10,000 to $24,999
Friend: $5,000 to $9,999
Donor: $1,000 to $4,999
Supporter: $999 and under
Naming Opportunities:
Building: $150,000
Conference room: $25,000
Library: $25,000
Multi-purpose room: $50,000
Transportation Office: $50,000
Consulting office: $25,000
Kitchen: $10,000

Givers who contribute $100 or more

will have their names displayed in the new building.
